Last updated: April 28, 2026

Overview

LeadSnap Email & Phone Extractor ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and what is not collected.

What the Extension Does

The Extension scans publicly visible content on webpages you visit to extract email addresses, phone numbers, and social media profile links. It also provides an AutoVisit mode that automatically visits a list of URLs you provide to batch-extract contacts.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Data Storage

All extracted contact information is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device.

You can clear all stored data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing browser extension data.

Network Requests

The Extension makes network requests only in the following cases:

Permissions

The Extension requests only 3 core permissions:

Optional permissions (scripting, offscreen, alarms) are used for AutoVisit batch scanning and are only activated when you use that feature.

Third-Party Services

The Extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is our own license verification server for Pro users.

Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
